The staff at this albergue were absolutely amazing! They were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with valuable tips and even allowing us to switch our beds to more secluded ones. The atmosphere in the place was also very pleasant and relaxing. the albergue had a great location, with a bus station nearby for easy transportation and a shopping center for convenience.
That all the bathrooms were located downstairs, while the beds were upstairs. So, if we needed to use the bathroom during the night, we had to go downstairs, which was a bit inconvenient.

My stay at Albergue Monterrey was a fantastic experience. As a traveler on the Camino, the location right on the route was perfect. The staff, both the lady and the guy at the reception, were incredibly friendly and provided great tips and assistance. They even allowed me to switch beds and choose a more secluded one. The atmosphere in the hostel was pleasant, and the rooms were spacious with sliding doors. The unisex bathroom was clean, and the kitchen had all the necessary amenities. a recommended stay for pilgrims and budget travelers.

We were pleased with the location of the accommodation, as it was conveniently situated on the Camino de Santiago and close to the bus station. The cleanliness of the place exceeded our expectations, and the facilities were well-maintained. We especially appreciated the presence of a fridge and microwave, which made it easier for us to store and prepare our own meals. Additionally, the staff members were incredibly helpful and provided us with valuable information and tips during our stay.
One of the downsides of our experience was the shower setup. Having to constantly press a button every 10 seconds to maintain hot water was inconvenient and somewhat frustrating.

We stayed at a great albergue in Santiago, perfect for pilgrims on the Camino. It was basic but had everything we needed, including laundry facilities. The staff was friendly and spoke English, and gave us a code so we could come and go as we pleased. The location was right on the Camino route and close to the cathedral. a simple and affordable option for a good night's sleep.
Everything was great! 😊
